A brake caliper is a crucial component of a disc braking system, typically used in modern vehicles. It houses the brake pads and pistons and plays a key role in slowing or stopping a vehicle by creating friction against the brake rotor.Function:The caliper works by applying hydraulic pressure from the braking system to the brake pads. When the driver presses the brake pedal, brake fluid is forced into the caliper, pushing the pistons outward.
